What is collagen?

Collagen is a protein found in all the structures of the body, such as the tendons, skin and muscles. It provides elasticity within the tissues.

 

There are 23 types of collagens in total, but as types 1, 2 and 3 are the most abundant within the human body, these are the ones most often found in food supplements.

 

What is the difference between these 3 types of collagen ?

Type 1 collagen is found in the skin, tendons etc.

Type 2 collagen is found in cartilage.

Type 3 collagen is found in the blood vessel walls.

 

Why is Collagen Flex effective ?
