The iron contained in this formula contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin as well as the oxygenation of cells and tissues. Fe FER also contains vitamins C and B12, which help reduce fatigue. For a better bioavailability of iron, we microencapsulated this active ingredient.
Iron is an essential trace element for our body. It is contained in the hemoglobin proteins, an integral part of red blood cells, whose role is to ensure the transport of oxygen in the body. Iron deficiency results in less oxygenation of the cells, generating, for example, a feeling of fatigue. During menstruation (and especially during heavy menstruation), women suffer iron losses. This phenomenon is also present in people who have suffered a loss of blood, as for example in an accident or following an operation.
In addition, athletes also have high iron needs and repeated efforts requiring a good oxygenation. Because of growth, particular attention must be paid to iron intake in children and adolescents.
People with iron deficiency should direct their diet to cover their needs for this trace element.
Iron is found in a variety of foods such as red meats, shellfish, soy or tofu. However, the iron bioavailability of these foods is not always sufficient to cover daily needs.
BIOCYTE has developed the first microencapsulated nutraceutical range for optimized assimilation. Fe Iron is formulated with micro-encapsulated iron, allowing this mineral to pass the gastric barrier without being damaged and to be directly absorbed by the blood.
This innovation also contains vitamin B12 (or cyanocobalamin). This molecule is essential for the formation of red blood cells and cell renewal. The last ingredient, Vitamin C, is well known for its energetic properties.
