A micelle is a complex structure with the form of a microsphere. Micelles have 2 poles: a hydrophilic pole, which is water-soluble, and a lipophilic pole, which traps oily substances incompatible with water. This dual affinity makes it possible to coat the active substance and protect it from the external environment. These micelles mimic the method used by the body itself to absorb fats and liposoluble substances. This leads to better absorption and much higher concentrations in the blood.

By using this micellar technology, CurcuminForte x185® is 185 times more bioavailable than native curcumin.
